The BDPA Annual National Youth Technology Camp (YTC) provides interactive, hands-on workshops, seminars, and activities for high school students seeking to gain valuable exposure in leading edge technology topics. This event gives students the opportunity to network with young entrepreneurs, and other youths from around the country who are pursuing academic and professional futures in the computer technology industry. Don't miss this opportunity to take part in a technology camp specifically tailored to meet the needs of today's Youth!
The YTC is held in conjunction with the BDPA National Technology Conference. This is a three-day event held daily from 8:00am-5:00pm, Wednesday thru Friday. On Friday, the campers will take an offsite tour to a high tech company or university to introduce the students to new skills that will empower them to take control of their future.
The camp's registration fee is $250.00 which includes:
- Three-days of hands on technical workshops and skills development activities
- A resume upon completion of the camp
- Participate for prizes in the Technology Quiz Bowl and CIO Challenge
- Attend the Information Technology Showcase
- Network with potential employers
- Event bag & promotional items
- Offsite activity /tour
- Meeting other outstanding high school students from across the country

Workshops and Seminars:
Each year seminars cover 4 areas to inspire career development:
- Emerging Technology - such as Wireless, Biometrics, Digital Imaging, Video Production, and Security
- Professional Development - such as Internships, Information on Careers in IT, Youth Entrepreneurship, Networking Computers, Software Development, and Building a Computer
- Academic Enhancement - such as College Selection and Scholarships, SAT/ACT Preparation, and Lifelong Learning Skills
- Personal Development - such as Managing Money, Etiquette and Verbal Presentation skills
Offsite Activities
- Campus Tour - Visit universities or engineering or technology labs, while learning more about preparing for college
- High Tech Tour - Learn of Emerging Technologies at local high tech companies
